Job Summary

The Commis Pan Asian Chef assists in the preparation and cooking of a variety of Asian dishes, including Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Korean, and other Pan-Asian cuisines. The role involves supporting senior chefs, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring kitchen hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking Pan-Asian dishes such as sushi, noodles, fried rice, curries, soups, and stir-fries.
• Prepare ingredients, including cutting vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning food.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Store food items properly and monitor stock levels.
• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies.
• Support senior chefs during busy service hours.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control.
• Adhere to company policies and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisines and cooking techniques.
• 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Salary Range

₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
