Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and creative Pan Asian Chef specializing in vegetarian cuisine to lead the preparation of authentic and innovative dishes. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Asian culinary techniques and flavors, with the ability to craft high-quality vegetarian dishes that delight guests and align with the restaurant’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a wide range of Pan Asian vegetarian dishes (including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and other Asian cuisines)
- Design and update menus with innovative vegetarian offerings
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
- Manage inventory, food costing, and ingredient sourcing
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Collaborate with management for menu planning and special promotions
- Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage
- Stay updated with current food trends and introduce new concepts
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience of 3–7 years as a Pan Asian Chef, with a strong focus on vegetarian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to create authentic and fusion vegetarian dishes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food costing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
