Job Description
We are hiring a results-driven Ad Sales Representative to generate revenue through the sale of magazine ad pages, sponsored content, and digital media assets. This role is responsible for lead generation, client acquisition, pitching campaigns, and closing deals across print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Sell magazine ad pages, advertorials, and campaign features to architects, designers, brands, and real estate stakeholders
- Drive revenue through digital assets (website features, social media campaigns, newsletters, sponsored posts)
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
2. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and build a pipeline of qualified leads across architecture, interior design, product brands, and allied industries
- Conduct cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) and convert inbound leads
- Maintain a consistent flow of new business opportunities
3. Client Pitching & Deal Closure
- Present TAD’s media kit, audience reach, and campaign offerings effectively
- Customize proposals based on client goals (branding, visibility, lead generation)
- Negotiate pricing and close high-value deals
4. Campaign Coordination
- Work closely with editorial, design, and social media teams to execute campaigns
- Ensure smooth onboarding of clients and timely delivery of assets
- Manage client expectations and approvals
5. Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with brands and repeat advertisers
- Act as a trusted advisor for marketing and visibility strategies
- Upsell and cross-sell across print and digital offerings
Key Requirements
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent English communication (spoken & written)
- Experience in media sales, advertising, publishing, or digital marketing preferred
- Ability to understand brand positioning and translate it into campaign pitches
- Highly proactive, target-driven, and comfortable with outreach
Preferred Background
- Media, Advertising, Marketing, Architecture/Design industry exposure
- Prior experience selling ad spaces, sponsorships, or campaigns
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Monthly revenue target (print + digital combined)
- Number of deals closed per month
- Lead-to-conversion ratio
- Average deal value
- Client retention / repeat business rate
What This Role Demands
This is a pure sales role with direct revenue accountability. The candidate must be comfortable with outreach, rejection, negotiation, and closing deals consistently.
