Job Description
Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the Corporate Accounting/GL team in a high-volume, multi-location retail organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Accounting + Indirect Tax, this role blends primary ownership of Long-Term Fixed Assets and Lease accounting (ASC 842) with broader month-end close and GL activities and ad-hoc analyses.
In this role, you'll lead month-end close, reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and support external audit requests. The Manager oversees a team of 3 (1 direct + 2 indirect reports), developing and coaching team members, driving processes and system improvements, and leads special projects to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
