Engineering Manager - Linux Systems & DevOps

As an Engineering Manager at Thales in Noida, India, you will be leading the team responsible for the platform and the application level, focusing on the development of the platform configuration and control layers of Imperva's end-products. This primarily involves working with the Linux Operating System and virtualization infrastructure such as VMWare, AWS, Azure, and more. Your role will also include ownership of product domains, enhancing and maintaining existing modules of the product. The development work will mainly be in C++, Python, and bash, incorporating new technologies from the DevOps world.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead the team responsible for the platform and application level
• Develop platform configuration and control layers of Impervas end-products
• Own product domains and enhance existing modules
• Work with Linux OS and virtualization infrastructure
• Utilize C++, Python, and bash for development
• Incorporate new technologies from the DevOps world
• *Qualifications Required:**
• BE, M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in Linux systems
• 3+ years' experience in leading a team/project
• Strong knowledge in DevOps
• Deep understanding of Python and Bash scripts
• Familiarity with development processes
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline, GIT, Jenkins AI-assisted tools
• Advantage: Experience with Clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, and Micro-services
