Responsibilities:
-Sample receiving and organization, followed by performance of analysis of samples and recording data.

-Properly archive analysis, samples and data to retrieve necessary.

-Maintain order in the lab and ensure that all is kept clean and tidy.

-Monitor inventory in storage and lab spaces to ensure no stoppage of work occurs.

-Engage in the development and delivery of extension outreach materials for public consumption.
-Assists with program and outreach efforts.
-Produces and or delivers presentations
-Assists in the initiation of applied research studies, collects, and processes data and generates reports.

-Other duties as required.


Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Soil or Water Science or degree related to natural resources.
-No prior experience required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and some basic statistical analysis of data.
-Knowledge of word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
