Role Overview:
As a Testing Engineer for the E-powertrain division at Texa S.p.A., your main responsibility will be to ensure the overall quality of E-powertrain systems by developing test plans for components and communicating the results obtained. You will also be in charge of executing tests and documenting them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define test methodologies for E-Powertrain products.
- Conduct tests on subcomponents for high-voltage applications while keeping track of all data produced in the testing environment.
- Analyze data generated from test benches and data loggers.
- Process data from electric motors and inverters.
- Analyze data to derive parameters characterizing the electric machine.
- Develop instrumentation for data acquisition and testing necessary for the verification and characterization of prototypes.
- Prepare activity plans, GANT charts, to reduce the downtime of components to be tested.
- Qualify test equipment and validate specific applications according to the standard procedure.
Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python software.
- Basic knowledge of electrical design.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to interact positively with all departments of the company.
- Knowledge of Vector software is a plus: CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer.
