International Trade Specialist EXIM Data Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our International Trade operations. This role involves working with EXIM data, customs data, and global trade datasets to generate insights that support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel skills and an interest in trade and import-export analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and process International Trade / EXIM / Customs data from various sources

Clean, organize, and validate large datasets for accuracy

Analyze import-export trends, pricing, volumes, and market movements

Prepare detailed reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel

Track competitor activity and trade patterns using available data

Assist in identifying new market opportunities based on trade insights

Maintain structured databases for ongoing analysis

Support internal teams with data-driven inputs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, data cleaning)

Basic understanding of International Trade / EXIM processes

Ability to work with large and complex datasets

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Good communication skills

Preferred

Exposure to customs data or trade databases

Basic knowledge of import-export documentation and terminology

Experience with Google Sheets

Internship or project work related to trade or data analysis
