Job Description

  • We are looking for a passionate and driven Technical Recruiter with experience in Renewable Energy hiring, specifically within the wind energy sector.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience sourcing and placing wind turbine technicians, field service engineers, and related technical roles.
  • This role requires someone who understands the unique challenges of hiring for field-based roles and has strong expertise in proactive talent sourcing, especially through LinkedIn and networking channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for wind energy and field service roles, including Wind Turbine Technicians, Service Engineers, and Maintenance Professionals
  • Perform deep sourcing using LinkedIn (Boolean search, X-ray search, talent mapping, and outreach strategies) to identify passive candidates
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through LinkedIn sourcing, networking, and industry communitiesUnderstand client requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies
  • Source candidates using job portals, social media, and niche platforms relevant to renewable energy
  • Screen and evaluate candidates for technical fit, certifications, and field readiness (e.g., climbing ability, safety compliance)
  • Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess experience in turbine servicing and site operations
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and clients to ensure timely closures
  • Manage candidate engagement and offer negotiationsMaintain strong relationships with consultants, vendors, and contract employees
  • Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to hiring strategies

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on renewable energy / wind energy hiring preferred
  • Proven experience in deep sourcing via LinkedIn, including Boolean search and passive candidate engagement
  • Strong experience hiring for field-based or technical roles (e.g., technicians, maintenance, service engineers)
  • Solid understanding of US recruitment lifecycle
  • Familiarity with US hiring terms: W2, C2C, 1099, US Visas
  • Experience working with direct clients
  • Hands-on experience with job portals like Dice, CareerBuilder, etc.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

  • Prior experience hiring wind turbine technicians or similar roles
  • Understanding of safety certifications, climbing requirements, or field service environments
  • Exposure to renewable energy projects or clients
