Role Description

We’re hiring a Full Stack Developer to join our product development team and help enhance and extend Lens, our CX testing and monitoring platform. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building end-to-end features—from Java backend services and REST APIs to React frontend components—and who’s excited to deepen experience with AWS and cloud-native integrations. You’ll also contribute to performance-minded engineering, including optimizing API response times, improving database access patterns, and (where appropriate) leveraging multithreading/concurrency for efficient processing. A key part of the work is supporting and expanding Conversational AI testing and monitoring, helping ensure chatbots and virtual agents perform reliably across real-world customer journeys.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
  • Build and improve frontend components and user workflows using React (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Integrate internal services with external and internal APIs (JSON, HTTP-based services).
  • Develop and enhance Lens platform features such as dashboards, configuration screens, reporting views, and admin tools.
  • Support cloud-based deployments and integrations on AWS (e.g., environment setup, service configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting).
  • Contribute to automation tooling/scripts that improve development, testing, or deployment workflows (Python or other scripting languages).
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate in agile delivery: clarify requirements, estimate work, and communicate progress clearly.

What You Bring

  • 1–3+ years of software development experience
  • Solid programming fundamentals and strong working knowledge of Java and OOP principles.
  • Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
  • Hands-on exposure to React (professional experience preferred; strong project experience acceptable).
  • Working knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Comfortable with Git workflows (branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Dependable, responsible, and collaborative—able to take ownership and follow through.

Nice to Have

  • Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, microservices patterns.
  • AWS experience with services like ECS/EC2/Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC basics.
  • Containerization with Docker; CI/CD exposure (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Automated testing (JUnit, Jest, Cypress/Playwright) and familiarity with test strategies.
  • Observability/logging/monitoring experience (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana).
  • Interest in CX technologies, testing/monitoring platforms, analytics dashboards.
