Recruiter - REMOTE, must be in the Greater Toronto Area
Full-time, 3-month contract
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Hourly pay: $30 - 32/hr paid weekly The Opportunity

Responsibilities
- Sources, screens and interviews candidates to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Works closely with supervisors, managers and stakeholders to bring the best candidates for them to review.
- Fosters great relationships with hiring managers and decision makers.
- Understand and encourage the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) approach and knowledge.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition to offer acceptance.
- Utilize metrics to track time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and pipeline velocity.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and timelines.
- Maintain an engaging candidate experience and timely communication.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Proactively nurture passive candidates for future opportunities.
- Leverage ATS and recruitment tools to track and report progress.
- Collaborate with HR to support onboarding and new-hire integration.
- Attend career events and campus recruiting to strengthen brand visibility.
- Stay curious and pursue ongoing learning to advance recruiting skills.
Experience / Qualifications
- Proven experience as an in-house or agency recruiter, 3+ years.
- Full-cycle recruitment from requisition to offer and onboarding.
- Excellent communicatin skills, English required with French being an asset.
- A great blend of being able to work independently as well as within a team when needed.
- Strong sourcing skills and passive candidate pipeline building.
- Experience with MS Office, ATS and recruitment analytics for time-to-fill and quality-of-hire.
- Ability to partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and timelines.
- Excellent candidate experience and timely, professional communication.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and internal policies in Ontario.
- Proactive candidate nurturing and relationship-building for future opportunities.
- Data-driven mindset with a growth-oriented approach and merit-based recognition.
