Job Description
Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Job ID: 86263
Location: Lower Mainland, British Columbia
What you will be doing:
- Contribute to a foundational Salesforce refactoring program supporting Membership / Loyalty readiness
- Participate in technical discovery and impact analysis to identify downstream dependencies (integrations, vendor systems, and internal platforms)
- Refactor Salesforce configuration and code to support changes to core objects / data model structures
- Build, update, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP, native connectors/adapters where applicable)
- Partner closely with the Technical PM, Technical BSA, QA, and Architecture to sequence changes, document decisions, and validate assumptions
- Troubleshoot and remediate technical debt impacting maintainability, stability, and scalability
- Support testing rigor: validate changes repeatedly, ensure continuity, and reduce regression risk across connected systems
- Contribute to release planning, code reviews, deployment readiness, and DevOps/CI/CD practices
What you must have:
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (strong Service Cloud + Sales Cloud exposure preferred)
- Strong programmatic skills: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and experience with declarative tools (Flows, configuration)
- Proven experience in refactoring, technical debt remediation, and improving platform maintainability in a production Salesforce environment
- Strong integration experience: building and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and working in vendor-integrated ecosystems
- Strong understanding of data concepts (objects, relationships, identifiers/keys) and the downstream impacts of data model changes
- Exposure to Data Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud (integration patterns, ecosystem connectivity, downstream impacts)
- Comfortable operating in environments with evolving documentation and discovery-driven delivery
- Experience with Git/GitHub, version control, and Salesforce development workflows (e.g., SFDX/VS Code)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work through consensus with cross-functional stakeholders
