Digital Analyst and Tracking Expert (GA4, GTM, SQL)

As a Digital Analyst and tracking expert, you will be responsible for owning end-to-end tracking and analytics implementation across web and marketing platforms. You will work closely with marketing and client teams to ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and insights generation. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable handling both implementation (GTM/GA4) and data analysis (SQL, dashboards).
Responsibilities
Implement and manage tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Configure and optimize GA4, including events, conversions, and ecommerce tracking
Work with client to define and validate dataLayer implementation
Debug and troubleshoot tracking issues to ensure data accuracy
Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio
Analyze user journeys, funnels, and campaign performance
Write and use SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and deeper analysis
Implement and manage marketing pixels (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) and ensure accurate tracking & attribution
Maintain UTM consistency and campaign tracking governance
Support offline conversion tracking and integrations with CRM tools
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, and SQL
Good understanding of event-based tracking, attribution, and conversion measurement
Experience with debugging and validation tools (Tag Assistant, GA Debugger, etc.)
Working knowledge of Looker Studio for reporting
Experience with server-side tracking, consent mode, or tools like OneTrust
Good to have:
Experience with Shopify (ecommerce tracking setups)
Familiarity with HubSpot (CRM and lead tracking integrations)
