Infrastructure Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Primary Skill: Windows / Linux Administration, VMware / Hyper‑V, Azure / AWS Cloud, Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), PowerShell / Bash / Python, Terraform / Ansible, CI/CD Tools, Monitoring Tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus), Backup & Disaster Recovery, Active Directory / IAM

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage systems.
Manage cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and ensure high availability.
Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve system issues proactively.
Implement security measures, access controls, and compliance standards.
Automate infrastructure tasks using scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python).
Support and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, etc.).
Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
Troubleshoot hardware, network, and operating system issues.
Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and operations teams to support deployments.
Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
Optimize system performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
Ensure infrastructure security, monitoring, and incident response readiness.
Provide on‑call support for critical system issues when required.
