Roles and Duties:

• Abide by safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace and prevent accidents.
• Engage in safety training workshops that teach workers how to avoid hazardous incidents while working in a fast-paced warehouse atmosphere.
• As a valuable team member, assist in the transportation of goods by packing, loading, and shipping items to retail stores and customers.
• Maintain the accuracy of our merchandise processing to ensure timely and efficient delivery to our retail locations and clientele.
• Conduct freight and inventory transfer activities in the warehouse with both speed and care to ensure optimal results.
• A clean and tidy work area is an essential component of maintaining a professional and competent work image.
• Timely attendance at the workplace and precise execution of assigned job tasks are crucial.
• Successful problem solving requires careful planning and execution. This involves setting clear goals, defining the problem, gathering data, analyzing the information, and developing and implementing a solution
• Maintains an affable and respectful manner when operating autonomously or in a group context.

Requirements

• Capable of frequently lifting and transporting goods ranging from 35-50 pounds within a work shift.
• Able to lift and convey items weighing up to 60 pounds periodically during a workday.
• Execute activities that require standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching on a regular basis at work.
• Cultivate an optimistic and courteous outlook while completing tasks alone or as part of a team.
• Proficient in using primary math concepts such as counting, addition, and subtraction accurately.
• Having the talent to accurately read and understand the information presented on product labels, tickets, and documentation.
• After being trained, indiviudals can use computer systems and handheld devices with minimal direction and without much trouble.
• Being a strong communicator can improve teamwork, collaboration, and overall productivity in any work environment
• To ensure compliance with safety standards and policies, it is critical to have a sufficient grasp of the English language in speaking, reading, and understanding instructions.

Additional Requirements

• Possessing expertise in the proper handling of powered equipment, including Scissor Lift, Pallet Rider, Sit Down & Standup Forklift, while ensuring safety and able to work at heights of up to 40ft where needed.
• Execute work functions while positioned on a mezzanine level, which may reach a height of up to 40 ft, if necessary
• Able to work efficiently in different temperature conditions, which includes being exposed to refrigeration and freezing units for the majority of the shift.
