Job Description
We are looking to hire an MBA / CA Semi-qualified professional to support in accounting, audit-related work, financial modelling, and routine finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, good Excel skills, and practical exposure to audit and reporting work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting work in Xero
- Support in preparation and finalization of financial statements
- Assist in audit work, including vouching, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and documentation
- Prepare and review MIS reports, working papers, and supporting schedules
- Develop and assist in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting work
- Handle routine finance tasks such as bank reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation, and invoice tracking
- Coordinate with clients for data collection, clarification, and report submission
- Support in process improvements and automation using Excel
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Auditing concepts
- Working knowledge of Xero (mandatory/preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards, etc.)
- Understanding of financial modelling and projections
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- CA Semi-qualified / MBA (Finance)
- Prior experience in accounting firm, audit firm, or finance department
- Experience with other accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, etc.) is a plus
