TalkPath Live partners with schools to provide teletherapy services to students, during school hours, and is currently hiring certified and experienced school counselors on a contractual (1099 position) basis for the 2026-2027 school year. We bring counselors on board as independent contractors, so you may tell us the days of the week that you would like to work and the hours within the school day. There is no expectation that you will accept caseloads greater than what you seek!

We will reach out to qualified candidates to schedule a Zoom interview on or before the first week in May. Please check the active listings on the Job Board if you seek immediate hours. If you are a LCSW, or have another mental health credential, please check other listings on our Job Board.

If we do not have needs in the states(s) in which you are licensed, we welcome the opportunity to discuss cross-licensing in another state or time-zone, for fee reimbursement, over the summer to be ready for the upcoming school year!

Basic Qualifications

• Counselors should be independent, creative, flexible, and comfortable working on their own computers from home
• Excellent communication skills via email and phone
• Full certification in your state of residence (when required by the state)
• Full certification in state(s) where TPL is hiring, or willingness to become licensed
• Functional understanding of electronic devices
• A reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions, in which to practice

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience providing remote, virtual services
• Experience with social/emotional individual & group counseling
