Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) Adult Clinical Services

Location: Oakville, ON

Contract with potential for Permanent hire

On site, Full Time

Primarily 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday core hours, with one evening per 6-week period and one Saturday per 6 weeks for group/workshop availability

Salary: $40.31 - $47.75 per hour (40-hour work week, OPSEU unionized position)

Reporting to the Director, Clinical Supports you will

  • Conduct assessment and treatment as required for adults
  • Skilled with adaptive equipment focus, harnesses for developmental disabilities, sensory processing assessments for autism
  • Develop and implement direct and indirect intervention plans.
  • Complete assessments, provide treatment and provide subsequent service referrals/recommendations, as appropriate.

Are you qualified?

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • At least 2 years experience as an OT
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario
  • Mandatory membership and licensure with Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in developmental services/mental health, interdisciplinary model familiarity, Ontario Assistive Devices Program authorization (asset)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and pivot charts)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
