About the Role
We are looking for Assembly Engineer to assemble machines, modules, and sub-assemblies as per design specifications and ensure proper functionality through testing and validation before delivery.
Technical Competencies: (Nature / type of technical proficiency required to execute this role).
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of machine assembly, fabrication, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with measurement tools and basic quality checks
- Exposure to testing and troubleshooting of machines
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is preferred

Responsibilities
- Assemble machines, modules, and sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings, BOMs, and standard work instructions
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure correct fitment and alignment of components
- Perform trial runs and initial setup of machines post-assembly
- Conduct mechanical and functional testing to ensure performance as per specifications
- Identify deviations or issues in machine performance and escalate to the supervisor or engineering team
- Troubleshoot basic assembly and operational issues and support corrective actions
- Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support machine validation activities
- Conduct machine demonstrations for internal teams, customers, or auditors as required
- Visit suppliers for quality inspection and approval of manufactured parts
- Visit customer sites for machine installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting as required
- Maintain assembly logs, quality reports, and testing protocols
- Maintain assembly material stock and support inventory reconciliation activities
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment (5S)
- Coordinate with design, quality, and production teams for smooth execution
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency, quality, and productivity
Experience: 5 to 10 years
Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or relevant
