Role Overview The Regional Sales Manager South will be responsible for driving aftermarket sales growth across the southern region through effective management of distributors, channel partners, and key accounts (Aftermarket ). The role involves developing regional strategies, expanding distribution networks, and strengthening market presence in the automotive components segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive aftermarket sales business across the South region to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Manage and expand distributor network, ensuring strong engagement and performance
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and Mechanics.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and product applications in the region
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
  • Conduct regular visits to distributors and key accounts to drive business growth
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor regional sales team (if applicable)
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, schemes, and training programs for channel partners
  • Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and regional performance reviews

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 12 years in automotive aftermarket sales
  • Mandatory experience in auto components / auto ancillary industry (Fasteners preferred)
  • Strong experience in channel sales / distributor management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share
  • Good understanding of independent aftermarket (IAM) and distribution ecosystem
  • Experience in handling South India territory preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be from Automotive Components / Auto Ancillary background ONLY
  • Age: Not more than 48 years
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South India
