Salesforce Admin/Developer

Taiv
Full Timemid
Winnipeg, Manitoba, CAPosted February 19, 2026

Job Description

We’re looking for a Salesforce Admin in the Winnipeg area to join our team! We want someone who is smart, hardworking, good-natured, and excited to take ownership of our Salesforce setup as we scale. This role is primarily admin-focused, but if you also have some Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning, etc.), that’s a big plus.

Who We Are:

Taiv is a fast-growing tech startup located in Winnipeg, Canada. Taiv uses AI to make business TV more fun, engaging, profitable, and easier to manage, starting with bars and restaurants. We've built proprietary tech that uses computer vision to watch live TV and improve the content with contextually-aware commercials, content, and games. Our tech also automates the manual AV tasks that venues have to do every day, to make bar management easier, standardized, and more profitable. We're venture-capital backed and graduated from Y Combinator, the world's top tech accelerator, in winter 2020. Program alumni include Airbnb, Instacart, DoorDash, etc. (www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies).

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a strong Salesforce Admin who can keep our CRM clean, scalable, and easy to use for the team. You’ll be the go-to person for Salesforce: improving workflows, building automations, supporting end users, and helping us make better decisions with reporting and dashboards.

You’ll have lots of responsibility and ownership. We’re a small team, so you’ll work closely with Sales, Ops, and Leadership to turn “we need Salesforce to do X” into something real and reliable.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own day-to-day Salesforce administration (users, roles, permissions, profiles, security)
  • Build and maintain automations (Flows, validation rules, approval processes, etc.)
  • Customize objects/fields/page layouts to match how we actually sell and operate
  • Improve data quality (dedupe, validation, process hygiene) and create scalable conventions
  • Build dashboards and reporting that the team actually uses
  • Manage integrations and tools around Salesforce (where applicable), and troubleshoot issues
  • Document processes and train teammates so Salesforce stays easy and consistent
  • Nice to have: contribute light development work (Apex, LWC, triggers) or partner with developers on more complex builds

Who You Are

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model concepts (objects, relationships, record types)
  • Strong experience building automations with Flow (and knowing when not to automate)
  • Comfortable supporting end users and translating business needs into Salesforce changes
  • High attention to detail: you care about data quality and sustainable systems
  • Startup mentality: proactive, accountable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats

Nice to Haves:

  • Salesforce development experience (Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components)
  • Experience with common Salesforce add-ons (CPQ, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, etc.)
  • Experience with RevOps / SalesOps best practices
  • Experience with integrations (Zapier/Make, API-based tools) and basic data pipelines
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.)

Perks

  • Employee stock options
  • 100% employer-covered health benefits
  • Flex-time & unlimited paid vacation
  • Gym membership
  • Free parking
  • Catered lunches 3x per week
  • Dog-friendly office
  • Hybrid work model
