Job Description
Role Overview:
As a GBS Performance and Process Improvement Specialist at a leading manufacturing MNC, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, performance analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives across the GBS organization. Your role will involve partnering with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement lean methodologies, and enhance process efficiency, service quality, and overall performance. Your contribution will be instrumental in fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs) across GBS functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Admin, etc.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools to provide business insights and support decision-making.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for underperformance and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with service line owners to establish performance targets aligned with GBS strategy.
- Facilitate process discovery, mapping, and documentation using tools like Visio and ARIS.
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Recommend and drive process redesign initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Lead or support Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement projects within GBS.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring teams on Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Track and report benefits of continuous improvement initiatives such as cost savings, productivity gains, and quality improvements.
- Act as a change agent to facilitate the adoption of new work methods and digital tools.
- Support the adoption and deployment of automation tools such as RPA and workflow engines.
- Assist in preparing and documenting processes in alignment with the Group's standard process framework.
- Manage the central repository for process documentation, ensuring accessibility, version control, and proper archiving.
- Coordinate approval workflows for new or revised process documentation and ensure stakeholder awareness and adoption.
- Serve as the point of contact for audits or internal reviews related to process documentation and governance.
- Collect feedback and surveys from users regarding processes.
Qualifications Required:
- 5 years of experience in process improvement, performance management, or operations excellence, preferably within a Shared Services or GBS environment.
