Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of our food service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high-quality dining experience for guests. A background in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the food and beverage team to ensure efficient service delivery
- Oversee daily location operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen, retail and coffee shop activities
- Supervise inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems such as Micros POS
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff to build a motivated and professional team
- Develop staff schedules and monitor performance to maintain high service standards
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and sanitation protocols
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Supervising experience with team management skills including interviewing and training staff
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple responsibilities
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Strong leadership qualities combined with organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant operations within the hospitality industry is preferred
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
