Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Public Relations Intern to help amplify our brand voice and expand our market presence. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our communications efforts—assisting in building brand awareness, supporting media outreach, and crafting compelling narratives around our AI innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Outreach & Research: Proactively research industry trends, identify key journalists and tech influencers, and help build targeted media lists.
- Content Creation: Draft and edit engaging PR materials, including press releases, media pitches, blog articles, and social media copy.
- Brand Storytelling: Assist in translating SwarmLens’s technical AI solutions into compelling, accessible narratives for external audiences and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our technical, marketing, and leadership teams to uncover unique stories and insights for PR campaigns.
- Media Monitoring: Actively track brand mentions, monitor competitor PR activities, and gather industry news to keep the team informed on market positioning.
- Event & Campaign Support: Help coordinate digital and physical events, such as webinars, industry conferences, and product launches.
- PR Operations: Diligently track outreach efforts, maintain media databases, and assist in reporting on the success and analytics of PR campaigns.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Strong foundational writing and editing skills. Previous campus PR experience, writing experience, or internships are a strong plus. A genuine interest in technology and AI is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
