Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for an Indian Classical Music Teacher. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Indian classical music to students of varying skill levels. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, delivering engaging, interactive classes, guiding students in both individual and group settings, and preparing students for performances. The teacher will also support skill development in music theory, performance techniques, and effective practice methods, while fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Music Theory and fundamentals
• Strong skills in Music Performance with expertise in Indian classical music
• Experience in Music Education and teaching diverse groups of students
• Proficiency in playing Indian classical instruments such as Piano or others is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and inspire students of all age groups
• Certification or formal training in Indian classical music is a strong plus
• Proven experience teaching in a similar capacity is highly desirable
