Environmental Field Chemist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Field Chemist to conduct sampling activities at client sites, ensure proper sample handling, and support our laboratory operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy fieldwork, client interaction, and working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Water (drinking, groundwater, surface water, wastewater)
• Air and stack emissions (where applicable)
• Soil and sludge
• Food and agricultural products
• Perform on-site testing and measurements using field instruments.
• Ensure proper sample preservation, labeling, storage, and transportation to the laboratory.
• Maintain sample integrity and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Collect environmental and food samples from client locations as per standard procedures.
• Perform basic field measurements using portable testing instruments.
• Ensure proper sample labeling, preservation, documentation, and transportation to the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate field records and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Coordinate with clients regarding sampling schedules and site requirements.
• Follow laboratory quality, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Maintain field equipment and sampling kits.

Pay: ₹17,500.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
