Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role for a retail sweet shop located in the Bangalore Urban district. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing the shop, supervising staff, and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality and display, managing inventory and stock rotation, placing orders, and minimizing wastage. The role involves handling customer queries and feedback, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. The Store Manager will also manage cash handling, billing oversight, basic reporting, and support loss prevention measures, while training and guiding team members to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle queries, feedback, and complaints calmly and professionally.
• Proficient Store Management capabilities, including staff supervision, daily operations oversight, cash handling, and basic reporting.
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members, suppliers, and customers, and to provide clear instructions and feedback.
• Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring shrinkage, managing stock discrepancies, and implementing basic security procedures.
• Previous experience in retail, food, or sweet shop operations is preferred; familiarity with hygiene and safety standards is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site full time in the Bangalore Urban district, including weekends and peak festive periods as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and comfort with numerical tasks related to cash and inventory.
