Certified E/M IP OP Coder

You are being hired as a Certified Medical Coder specializing in E/M IP OP coding. Immediate joiners are required for this role. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and coding Inpatient records for reimbursement and compliance with federal regulations using 1CD-9-CM and CPT coding systems.
• Assigning correct principal diagnosis, comorbidities, complications, secondary diagnoses, POA indicators, HAC, principal procedure codes, and secondary procedure codes according to official guidelines.
• Performing accurate coding of patient accounts using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
• Collecting and abstracting all necessary clinical and statistical information.
• Reviewing patient files for accuracy and abstracting information according to established guidelines.
• Assisting in implementing solutions to reduce billing errors.
• Entering all coded information into the hospital information system.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Science Graduate
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in E/M IP coding
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Comfortable working from the office
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Successful completion of CPC or CCS certification
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements

Working Details:

• Shift timings: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
• Five days working (Monday - Friday)
• Need to be comfortable with WFO (Work from Office)
