Job Description
You are being hired as a Certified Medical Coder specializing in E/M IP OP coding. Immediate joiners are required for this role. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and coding Inpatient records for reimbursement and compliance with federal regulations using 1CD-9-CM and CPT coding systems.
- Assigning correct principal diagnosis, comorbidities, complications, secondary diagnoses, POA indicators, HAC, principal procedure codes, and secondary procedure codes according to official guidelines.
- Performing accurate coding of patient accounts using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
- Collecting and abstracting all necessary clinical and statistical information.
- Reviewing patient files for accuracy and abstracting information according to established guidelines.
- Assisting in implementing solutions to reduce billing errors.
- Entering all coded information into the hospital information system.

- Science Graduate
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in E/M IP coding
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Comfortable working from the office
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Successful completion of CPC or CCS certification
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements
Working Details:
- Shift timings: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
- Five days working (Monday - Friday)
- Need to be comfortable with WFO (Work from Office)
