Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Mulshi. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately, verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential interactions, and counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient medication records, managing inventory and stock rotation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies. The Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize medication therapy and support safe prescribing practices. The role also involves participating in quality assurance activities, maintaining clean and organized pharmacy work areas, and assisting with staff training and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid pharmacy degree (B.Pharm or D.Pharm) from an accredited institution and current registration with the appropriate pharmacy council.
• Proven knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and therapeutic indications.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and provide clear, empathetic medication counseling to patients.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, including inventory control, storage requirements, and handling of high-risk medications.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records or pharmacy information systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays, in accordance with hospital requirements.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory; newly qualified candidates with strong clinical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
