The Role

We’re looking for a Copywriter Intern who is a writer at their core. You’ve been writing for as long as you can remember, whether jokes, scripts, essays, captions, or stories nobody asked for, and you get a genuine rush from finding exactly the right word.

You’ll join our creative team and get hands-on experience writing across every format an AI-native agency touches (taglines, scripts, social, long-form, manifestos, decks, the occasional weird experiment) alongside an art director and senior creatives. You’ll use AI tools the way a writer uses any good tool: to explore more directions, faster, with the taste and ear to know which ones to kill.

This is not an internship where you sit back and observe. It’s for someone who wants to be in the work: writing, rewriting, presenting, defending, and shipping. You notice when someone uses a word perfectly. You have a reading habit. And when a new language model drops, you want to be the first one in the agency to push it to its edges and find out what it can do.

What You’ll Do

Create & Learn

• Write across formats with mentorship from senior copywriters and creative directors: taglines, scripts, social, long-form, manifestos, internal decks
• Partner with an art director on campaigns from concept through production
• Use AI tools to explore more directions, faster, and develop the taste to know which ones to kill
• Present your own work in the room when the moment calls for it

Explore & Problem-Solve

• Stay obsessively current on emerging AI writing and research tools. Find what’s new and figure out how to use it
• Bring a point of view to the page every day. A brief is a starting line, not a cage
• Chase down the right reference, the right insight, the right metaphor until the line lands

Collaboration & Growth

• Partner closely with your art director, creative directors, and strategists. Absorb everything you can
• Take feedback eagerly and use it to grow. This is a mentorship-driven role and we’ll invest in your development
• Move fast, ask smart questions, and treat every project like it matters

Who You Are

• A college senior or rising senior pursuing a degree in English, creative writing, advertising, journalism, communications, or a related field
• At your core, a writer and storyteller. You read widely, you write when no one is watching, and you have a voice that is recognizably yours
• A sharp ear for tone: you know when to be funny, when to be plain, and when to shut up
• A reading habit. The best writers are the best readers
• Already experimenting with AI writing and research tools, not as a crutch but as a sparring partner
• You have work to show: a portfolio, Substack, blog, social feed, published pieces, or student work that reflects your voice
• Resourceful and inventive. You have a MacGyver mentality and an innate desire to figure things out
• You want to be mentored. You’re hungry to learn, open to feedback, and ready to grow fast in a hands-on environment
• Collaborative, proactive, and positive. You make the team better, not just the work
