Talent Acquisition Specialist

Language Requirements

Strong English proficiency is essential — you must be fully fluent and confident in both written and spoken communication. You do not need to be fully bilingual, but you should have a working understanding of French. That means being able to hold a basic conversation in French, identify French-speaking candidates, and manage simple interactions when needed.

Important Note

While the role is primarily remote, occasional in-person work will be required at our Ottawa (Herongate) and Hawkesbury store locations. For this reason, candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of both locations.

Human Resources Support

• Recruitment
• Assist in drafting job descriptions and offers
• Post job openings on Indeed and other recruitment platforms
• Conduct initial screenings and monitor applicant responses
• Handle applicant follow-ups (e.g., case studies, personality assessments)
• Manage and maintain virtual interview schedules
• Update and oversee the applicant tracking system

Reporting

• Reporting and Analytics
• Assist in generating and updating key performance indicator (KPI) reports
• Compile and analyze data for decision-making
• Process Improvement
• Review and improve core processes (HR, Operations, Accounting)
• Implement feedback mechanisms for process improvements
• Stay updated on industry best practices and relevant technologies

Job Offers

• Competitive Pay: $19.50 – $25.00 per hour
• Post-Probation: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
