Senior Mathematics Educator - Secondary

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mathematics Educator – Secondary/Higher Secondary, based in Goa, India. The educator will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for secondary learners, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, creating assessments, evaluating learner progress, and providing timely feedback. The role involves developing and refining the mathematics curriculum, integrating real-life applications, and using a variety of teaching strategies and learning resources. The educator will mentor and guide learners, support examination preparation, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, participate in school events, and contribute to professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including designing age-appropriate, inquiry-based, and assessment-driven learning experiences.
• Effective classroom management, learner engagement, and differentiation skills to support diverse learning needs and styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered, inclusive, and culturally responsive approach.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field; additional pedagogical qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience with integrating educational technology and real-world applications into Mathematics teaching is highly desirable.
