Summary
Summit Ridge Energy is seeking an Analyst to join the growing Business Development team. The analyst will be responsible for project financial analysis, screening, and documentation, and will support early-stage development and market research efforts.

Role And Responsibilities
- Support the Origination and Acquisition teams by developing financial models and analysis
- Assist with the development of investment theses, project opportunity screening, and due diligence through all phases of the Business Development cycle
- Run Summit Ridge Energy’s proprietary financial models to evaluate project viability, including sensitivity analyses to assess risk factors
- Use Summit Ridge Energy’s proprietary project management / Customer Relationship Management tool to assist with lead tracking and produce pipeline reports
- Support Origination and Acquisition teams by initiating market research, developing price forecasts, challenging third-party reports, and assisting in the development of a company view across markets
Required Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, renewable energy, finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to communicate financial modeling and other due diligence results to the sales team, senior management, and various partners, including project consultants, engineers, and installers
- Financial modeling experience and project finance experience
- Familiarity with basic financial key performance indicators and the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and improve financial models in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both as part of a team and individually
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
