Intern - IT Support Engineer

As the firm continues to grow and expand its capabilities, we’re offering an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience within a leading investment firm and contribute to building the next generation of our technology platform.&nbsp;</p> <p>As a member of the Technology team, interns will assist with front-line support across employee hardware, core business applications, and critical third-party systems. This position provides hands-on exposure to enterprise IT operations in a fast-paced hedge fund environment, helping ensure a seamless technology experience for all users while learning best practices in technical support and service delivery.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in identifying, researching, and resolving basic technical issues under the guidance of senior team members</li> <li>Help deliver exceptional customer service &amp; technical support to employees across the firm</li> <li>Support the setup and maintenance of computers, software, and user accounts in both office and cloud-based environments</li> <li>Participate in onboarding new users and preparing hardware/software for new hires</li> <li>Assist with documentation of common support procedures and technical setups</li> <li>Learn to deploy &amp; support new IT tools and systems as part of the broader technology team</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technology field</li> <li>Strong desire to learn and take initiative when solving problems</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li> <li>Basic understanding of Windows systems, Microsoft 365, and general IT concepts</li> <li>Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, or Intune is a plus</li> <li>Attention to detail and good documentation habits</li> <li>Prior internship or relevant coursework experience is helpful but not required</li> <li>Interest in automation or PowerShell scripting is a plus</li> </ul>
