Role Summary
Responsible for managing primary and secondary transportation operations across PAN India. The role focuses on vendor coordination, cost control, timely deliveries, invoice verification, and day-to-day follow-up with warehouses and transport partners as per Sturlite requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage pan-India secondary transportation using regional and local transport vendors.
- Handle different transport modes such as Bus Mode, Porter, Part Truck Load (PTL), and direct vehicles based on delivery speed and requirement.
- Negotiate transport commercials directly with vendors and finalize rates with an initial 11-month lock-in and long-term price stability up to 3 years.
- Coordinate with vendors every month to collect breakup Excel details and invoice copies.
- Verify invoices against agreed rates and clear invoice verification within 24 to 78 hours.
- Process Accounts Payable entries in SAP S/4HANA and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Onboard new local or regional transport vendors through L1, L2, and L3 price comparison and finalize best rates.
- Conduct surprise visits across PAN India depots to verify operations directly with vendors.
- Track and monitor TAT for each local and regional vendor and share daily MIS reports.
- Follow up daily with all warehouse locations to collect inward and outward registers without fail.
- Understand and manage Primary, Secondary, First Mile, Mid Mile, and Last Mile logistics operations.
- Work on continuous cost optimization in transport management.
- Handle import and export transportation processes end-to-end, from booking to final delivery.
Skills & Knowledge
- Good understanding of transport operations, vendor coordination, commercial negotiation, invoice verification, SAP S/4HANA, Excel, and logistics processes. Willingness to travel and strong follow-up skills are mandatory.
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
