Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable photographer to join our team as a lead shooter for senior portrait sessions. This role is exclusively focused on the in-person experience and capturing incredible images in the field. There is no editing or post-processing required—your job is to show up, connect with clients, and deliver stunning photographs during the session itself. All retouching and final delivery will be handled separately.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-location senior portrait sessions (outdoors, urban settings, client-chosen meaningful locations).
• Guide seniors through a relaxed, empowering posing flow that highlights their unique personality and style.
• Create a 5-star client experience: build rapport quickly, make seniors feel confident and celebrated, and keep the session fun and stress-free.
• Capture a high volume of varied, creative, and technically excellent images during each session (typically 75 minutes.
• Manage session timing, lighting, and composition in diverse natural-light conditions.
• Communicate clearly with clients before and during the session to ensure their vision is met.
• Represent the Josh Fisher Seniors brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and positivity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience photographing high school seniors or portrait clients (portfolio showcasing current senior work required).
• Strong command of natural-light photography and off-camera flash when needed.
• Excellent people skills—must genuinely enjoy working with teenagers and making them feel like stars.
• Reliable transportation (you will be driving to locations around (Alpharetta)
• Professional camera gear capable of delivering high-resolution, magazine-quality results.
• Availability for evenings and weekends during peak senior season (April–October).
• Positive, energetic attitude and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
