Overview

Stratton MineSafe Solutions Ltd. is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and capable Executive Assistant / Operations Coordinator to support our growing operations across Northern Saskatchewan.

This role goes beyond traditional administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating business activities across:

  • Client outreach and communications
  • Exploration and field operations support
  • Community engagement and workforce development programs
  • Internal coordination between executive, safety, and drilling functions

We operate in a fast-paced environment supporting mining and exploration activity across the Athabasca Basin. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, and can bring structure to a rapidly growing company.

Stratton MineSafe Solutions Ltd. is a Northern Saskatchewan–based exploration support and field infrastructure company serving the Athabasca Basin.

We are 100% owned by Stratton Group Development Corporation, a First Nations–owned company from Clearwater River Dene Nation focused on long-term economic development, workforce creation, and regional capacity building.

Our work supports exploration and mining companies operating across Northern Saskatchewan, while also building pathways for local employment and training.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & Administrative Support

  • Manage executive calendars, meetings, and scheduling across multiple departments
  • Draft, review, and send professional communications to clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems, documentation, and correspondence

Client & Industry Coordination

  • Support client outreach efforts and follow-up communications
  • Assist in preparing proposals, capability packages, and client materials
  • Maintain contact lists and track ongoing conversations with industry partners

Operations & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal departments including:
  • Drilling / Field Operations
  • Safety Department
  • Executive Leadership
  • Track project progress, deliverables, and timelines
  • Assist with logistics coordination, ordering, and scheduling

Community Engagement & Programming

  • Coordinate communication with schools and training partners
  • Support planning and execution of community events, job fairs, and training programs
  • Assist with workforce development initiatives and student programming

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping
  • Prepare documents for signature
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting systems

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Google Workspace
  • QuickBooks (preferred)
  • DocuSign
  • Experience in administrative, coordination, or operations roles
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred (Not Required, But Valuable)

  • Knowledge of Northern Saskatchewan and the Athabasca Basin
  • Familiarity with mining, exploration, or industrial environments
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations
  • Experience supporting small business or startup environments
