Job Description
Graphic Designer (3D Trade Show & Experiential Design)
Steel City Displays | Phoenixville, PA (On-Site)
We are not looking for a traditional graphic designer.
We’re looking for someone who designs for space, structure, and real-world environments—not just screens.
Steel City Displays is seeking a designer with experience in 3D exhibit design, trade shows, or experiential environments to help bring brands to life through custom-built physical experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Design 3D trade show exhibits and branded environments
- Create renderings and layouts that translate ideas into buildable concepts
- Develop large-format graphics for physical spaces
- Work closely with fabrication and project teams to ensure designs can actually be built
- Balance creativity with real-world constraints (materials, budgets, timelines)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in trade show exhibits, experiential design, retail environments, or similar
- Strong 3D design skills (SketchUp, FormZ, 3ds Max, or similar)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of large-format print and production files
- Ability to think beyond the screen—how designs live in physical space
This Role Is NOT a Fit If
- Your experience is primarily social media, marketing, or digital-only design
- You have not worked on physical environments or 3D structures
Why Steel City
We design, build, and execute custom environments where strategy, design, and fabrication come together. You’ll be part of a team where your work goes from concept to something people can walk through, touch, and experience.
