Bookkeeper/Accountant (+3 years Experiance)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing insights through account analysis. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of various accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.

Duties

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for maintaining financial records and generating reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of bank statements against company records.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist with account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial data.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support budgeting processes.
• Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role is desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is required.
• Strong understanding of account reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
