Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager with strong culinary experience to oversee all food and beverage operations, including kitchen execution, restaurant service, and banquet/event catering.
The role requires leadership, cost control, and the ability to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience aligned with Hilton brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen & Culinary Execution
- Lead all kitchen operations including breakfast service, evening dining, and banquet catering
- Prepare and execute menu items while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Control food cost, waste, and portioning
Food & Beverage Operations
- Oversee and manage all food and beverage outlets, including breakfast service, evening dining, bar operations, and the meeting space/banquet program
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, including service standards and guest experience
- Manage banquet and catering execution for meetings and events
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and coverage across all F&B outlets
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
Meeting Space Sales & Revenue Growth
- Actively drive revenue for meeting space, catering, and events through local outreach and client relationships
- Partner with the sales team to increase bookings, improve conversion, and maximize utilization of meeting space
- Respond to event inquiries, provide proposals, and assist in closing business
- Identify opportunities for upselling food, beverage, and event packages
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage F&B budgets including food cost, labor cost, and overall profitability
- Monitor daily and weekly performance metrics and adjust operations as needed
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through menu enhancements and upselling
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, train, and manage kitchen and F&B team members
- Set clear expectations and maintain accountability for performance
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in food & beverage operations, with hands-on culinary experience required
- Previous hotel experience preferred, ideally within Hilton Garden Inn or similar select-service brands
- Strong understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in both managerial and hands-on cooking roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
