You’ll work closely with intermediate and senior staff in both the field and office, gaining practical experience while building the technical foundation needed for a successful career in contaminated sites practice. - Developing site‑specific health and safety plans and helping lead field programs with safety as the top priority
- Producing clear, accurate field notes and documentation that meet data quality objectives
- Supervising and coordinating with subcontractors (e.g., drillers, hydrovac operators, utility locators, heavy equipment operators)
- Assisting with BC Contaminated Sites Regulation applications, including Approvals in Principle and Certificates of Compliance
- Managing and organizing field data using specialized equipment and software
- Supporting project managers with scopes, budgets, schedules, and field logistics
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Stantec Canada, including geotechnical, water resources, atmospheric sciences, and indoor environments groups
- Actively contributing to—and strengthening—a strong health and safety culture
You’ll be exposed to a wide range of site conditions, regulatory frameworks, and technical challenges—accelerating your learning curve and professional development.
