Area Sales Specialist - 100%
Job Description
To develop and grow the STAAR business within the East India and Bangladesh territory by achieving and exceeding revenue budgets through building a premium market for implantable lens solutions (ICL and TICL), while collaborating with the Reporting and Marketing Managers to engage high-volume key opinion leaders and execute effective training and marketing programs
· Provide sales and training support to distribution partners
· Assist with the promotional activities at regional/national congresses in India
· Collection and analysis of market relevant data in region.
· Counsellors Training / staff product awareness programs
· Supporting doctors in the O.T. and demonstrating injector system through dry demo
· Guide the surgeons on lens calculations and assist them with the ordering process.
· Support compliant execution of STAAR’s business processes
· Prepare and submit on a timely basis field activity report for the territory and other reports required by the Reporting Manager.
· Work towards building good professional relationships with all internal and external customers at all levels (doctors, opinion leaders, distributors, peers) etc.
· Work towards ensuring timely service, prompt response time and delightful service support for the customers.
· Any other duties may be required by the Manager.
Your profile
· Optometrist/B.Tech. /B.Sc./Post Graduate / MBA preferred. Additional commercial education is a plus
· Minimum 3 years of field sales experience. (Ophthalmology segment preferred)
· Excellent communication skills - English
· Flexible, result driven, able to work in an international organisation and with remote teams
