About the Role
We are seeking a polished and results-driven Retail Sales Executive to join our luxury home décor showroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end furniture and décor sales, a refined aesthetic sense, and the ability to deliver an exceptional client experience tailored to affluent customers, interior designers, and architects.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
- Deliver a premium, personalized in-store experience to walk-in and repeat clients.
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, and design sensibilities to recommend suitable products.
- Drive sales conversions by showcasing product features, craftsmanship, materials, and brand story.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNI (High Net-Worth Individual) clients, designers, and architects.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Product Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all furniture, décor items, materials, finishes, and customization options.
- Stay updated on global design trends, color palettes, and luxury lifestyle preferences.
- Educate clients on product care, styling, and space planning.
Visual Merchandising Support
- Assist in maintaining showroom aesthetics aligned with brand standards.
- Collaborate with the VM team to ensure displays are elegant, cohesive, and updated.
- Ensure all products are well-presented, clean, and tagged accurately.
Order Management & Coordination
- Handle end-to-end sales process including quotations, invoicing, order booking, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely delivery and installation.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints with professionalism and promptness.
Relationship Management
- Develop a strong network within the interior design and architecture community.
- Conduct follow-ups with past clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain a CRM database with accurate client interactions and preferences.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record in luxury retail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of aesthetic sensibility and understanding of interior design principles.
- Ability to build trust with discerning clientele.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and basic MS Office tools.
Qualifications
- 5–6+ years of experience in luxury furniture, home décor, or premium retail segment.
- Experience working with interior designers, architects, or premium clientele is highly desirable.
