Role Description The Quality Control Chemist is a full-time, on-site role based in Solapur. The person in this role will perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on samples, ensuring that all results meet defined quality standards and regulatory expectations. Daily responsibilities include preparing reagents and samples, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, and documenting all test results accurately in laboratory records. The Quality Control Chemist will conduct method validation, participate in calibration and verification of laboratory equipment, and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing. The role also includes supporting the implementation of safety procedures, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and collaborating with teachers, staff, and other stakeholders to uphold high-quality laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Quality Control principles, including testing procedures, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
• Proficient Laboratory Skills such as sample preparation, reagent handling, and safe operation within a chemistry lab environment.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting test results, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions.
• Hands-on experience with Laboratory Equipment, including operation, routine maintenance, and method setup.
• Knowledge of Calibration practices for instruments and measuring devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Familiarity with laboratory safety standards, good laboratory practices (GLP), and relevant regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in an academic, educational, or industrial laboratory setting is an advantage.
