Areas of publication include agriculture, horticulture, soil science, plant pathology, entomology, food and dairy technology, genetics and breeding, biosciences, biotechnology, fisheries, animal sciences, environmental science, organic farming, agri-business management, and livestock production. The magazine aims to disseminate scientific information and new findings to the global agricultural community.

Role Description The CQA Governance role is a full-time on-site position based in the Amritsar/Ludhiana area. The role involves developing and maintaining content quality assurance (CQA) standards and governance frameworks for all published materials. The individual will review articles and submissions for accuracy, consistency, compliance with editorial guidelines, and adherence to ethical and scientific standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with editors, authors, and subject matter experts; managing review checklists and documentation; and tracking quality metrics across issues. The role also includes identifying process gaps, recommending improvements, supporting internal audits, and training team members on quality and governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of quality assurance and governance principles, including documentation control, process standardization, and compliance monitoring.
• Experience in editorial review, scientific or technical content evaluation, and adherence to style guides and publication policies.
• Knowledge of agriculture or allied sciences (such as agronomy, horticulture, soil science, plant pathology, animal sciences, or related fields) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic content management or workflow systems; ability to manage data, checklists, and quality dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced editorial environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Prior experience in publishing, research coordination, or quality management in an academic, scientific, or media setting is an advantage.
