We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site technical support, installation, piping, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a variety of compressed air equipment and systems. The Senior Field Service Technician will interact with clients to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and offer proactive maintenance recommendations. This role also requires maintaining accurate service records and collaborating with engineering and customer service teams to address client needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments. Duties
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of nitrogen generators, oxygen generators, air compressors, air dryers, and related compressed air systems at customer sites.
- Performing preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with compressed gas and air systems, including electrical and refrigeration components.
- Performing repairs and replacements of faulty parts or components as needed.
- Prepare a Bill of Materials for the required materials to perform the installation and maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Collaborating with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of compressed air systems.
- Training customers' personnel on basic maintenance tasks and troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment necessary for repairs and installations.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Traveling within and outside regular working hours to customer sites to perform onsite installation, maintenance and repair work.
- Managing service calls within and outside regular working hours.
- Understanding of and adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., TSSA standards)
- Installation of High-Pressure and Low-Pressure Gas Piping
Required Skillset:
- Strong knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing nitrogen generators, oxygen generators, air compressors, air dryers, and related compressed air systems.
- Proficiency in piping work, including installation and repair of piping systems for compressed gas and air distribution.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical and refrigeration components.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols like TSSA and ESA regulations related to the installation and maintenance of compressed air systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and providing technical support.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Refrigerant and electrical certification would be an added advantage.
Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or vocational training in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the maintenance and repair of compressed gas and air systems.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record and willing to drive a service truck.
- Willing to be part of the company’s social media campaign.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Experience
- Nitrogen Generator maintenance and installation : 2 years (preferred)
- piping installation as per the TSSA: 3 years (preferred)
- Air Compressor maintenance and installation : 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- refrigeration ticket (preferred)
