Job Description

As an SEO & ASO Expert at SpeakX, you will be responsible for both organic discoverability and growth through SEO and ASO strategies. You understand that SEO and ASO go hand in hand, focusing on improving rankings and conversion rates. Your goal is to optimize content to help users practice and refine their English skills confidently.

  • *Role Overview:**

You will own the SEO and ASO strategies to enhance SpeakX's visibility on search engines and app stores. Your role involves keyword research, site optimization, content roadmap planning, and backlink profile growth.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Own keyword strategy by conducting research, mapping, and prioritizing keywords across all content
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO enhancements such as site structure, speed, schema, and crawlability
  • Develop and execute a content SEO roadmap, identify gaps, collaborate with writers, and track rankings
  • Increase organic backlinks through outreach and strategic partnerships
  • Manage Play Store and App Store listings, including titles, descriptions, keywords, screenshots, and previews
  • Conduct continuous A/B tests on store creatives to enhance install conversion rates
  • Monitor keyword rankings, impressions, and conversion metrics on both app stores
  • Analyze competitor ASO strategies to identify opportunities for improvement
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • 35 years of experience in SEO and/or ASO, preferably in consumer apps or edtech
  • Proven track record of improving rankings through strategic decisions
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawl budgets, and site architecture
  • Proficiency in tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, AppFollow, Sensor Tower, and GA4
  • Ability to interpret data, form hypotheses, run tests, and iterate for continuous improvement
  • Strong prioritization skills and a fast-paced work style
  • Additional skills like Vernacular/multilingual SEO, App Store localization, or startup experience are a plus
