Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Journeyman Carpenter located in Lloydminster, AB. Responsibilities include performing carpentry tasks such as framing, finish carpentry, and precise cutting and measuring. The role involves operating and maintaining power tools and hand tools while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Additional tasks include following project plans, collaborating with team members, and complying with building regulations and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in general Carpentry and specialized in areas such as Framing and Finish Carpentry.
• Skilled in handling and maintaining Hand Tools and Power Tools effectively and safely.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, project plans, and technical drawings is highly desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role along with a valid Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter certification.
