Position: Senior Software Engineer-Python (TT25ST RM 4062)

Interview- L1, L2 – Both Virtual

5 days- work from office.

Overall Responsibilities And Duties

The software engineer who will be responsible for Automation framework development for System/SW validation of Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science

Experience

• 2-5 years’ experience in Automotive Application development.

Skills And Competencies

Must Have:

• Experience in Automotive infotainment modules or at least Automotive background.
• Experience in Python 3.8
• Experience in Ubuntu 20.4
• Experience with any Automation Framework, plugins, module integration etc.
• Experience/Understanding of Hardware set-up with respect to System validation for Infotainment system or any Automotive feature.
• Working experience in Git/Gerrit/Gitlab
• Working experience in ALM tool.

Nice To Have

• Experience of working in Scrum team in Agile methodology.
• Experience of Vector VT system/D-Space
• Experience in CAN, UDP/TCP protocols
• Experience with serial/Ethernet communication.

Responsibilities

• Development/ Maintenance of Infotainment system/SW testing framework.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Write well-designed, testable code.
• Produce specification and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Should be able to perform PEER reviews
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards.
• Ensure software is updated with latest features
