Job Description
You will be responsible for the full software development life cycle of Android projects in JAVA/Kotlin with core competency in Automotive embedded software development. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing Android HMI applications for building system and user apps
- Having a good understanding of Android architecture, framework, and continuous build using Jenkins, Linux tools
- Working on HMI wireframing/prototyping for Android using Figma
- Integrating and validating methodologies and supporting junior developers
- Utilizing problem-solving techniques and strong debugging and log analysis skills
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science
- 2-3 years of experience in Automotive Software Development on Android (AOSP/AAOS) in JAVA/Kotlin
- Overall 5 to 8 years of experience in software development
- Experience in Application development for Android, Android studio, Jetpack compose
- Knowledge of requirement management, revision control, issue-tracking tools like IBM Doors/IBM RTC(EWM)/IBM rhapsody/JIRA/GITLab/GERRIT
- Experience working in SCRUM team in Agile methodology
It would be nice to have experience with A-SPICE and Agile development/scrum. Your mindset should include a sense of ownership, being a team player with strong communication skills in English, having a growth mindset, and showing leadership qualities to coach co-workers and develop team spirit.
